Operations

At bottlenecks:
Position vehicles to create a cone of fire where unfriendly vehicles are hit at the emergence point. Area weapons and EMPs are an ideal choice.

At opponent's colony:
Spread attacking vehicles if the opponent is lacking or has area weapons. Use area weapons to continuously fire at the "front" of vehicle factories and mine(s). Concentrate other fire on the Advanced Lab, Vehicle Factory, Tokamacks, Command Center or a building linking the Command Center to the Vehicle Factory. If low on numbers concentrate fire on connection to Vehicle Factory, Advanced Lab, or cargo trucks. If at a place like pie, leave a security element behind near a bottleneck.

Opponent inside colony:
Keep unfriendlys grouped. Use EMPs if reinforcements are en route. If Vehicle Factory is disabled or destroyed, build guardposts. Take down Advanced Lab at last possible chance, with breathing space, unless ConVecs are targeted. Target EMPs and Stickys first unless there are a large number of other vehicles.

Initiating EMP Missle/Nova attack:
Use Lynx. If opponent is using primarily ESGs, run scouts with an appropriate number of EMPs and Novas to pick up leftover mines.

Defending EMP Missle/Nova attack:
Use EMPs to knock out friendlys before EMP missle hits targeting Stickyfoams, ESGs, Thor's Hammers, and EMPs (let Acids, if any, remain disabled should unfriendlys get within close range of friendlys. Use bottlenecks (if any) as a Sticky's best friend. Be prepared for unfriendlys self-destructing to open holes.
