Small-Unit Tactics

Area weapons do not have to get a direct hit to damage a vehicle. Try a hit and run.

Don't let a charging, lone Stickyfoam run you off. Run it off. Two shots by a laser or microwave will damage the Sticky slightly more.

When facing an ESG or Thor's Hammer with common ore-type vehicles, spread out, then converge. Don't pursue the ESG.

ESGs have the greatest range, depending on the "driver."

Using EMP Missles on unfriendly smelters is not only a waste of ore, but rude.

Use the buddy system. (example: one EMP and one Microwave to an area)

Remember that Stickyfoams won't damage vehicles that are already "glued."

Earthworkers can be used to disassemble another colony's tubes.

Self-destructing non-essential vehicles next to unfriendly, recently (real recent) buildings can sometimes destroy them.

Lure other vehicles into a cone of fire by having an EMP shoot next to a group.

Use Scouts to draw fire.

"Sweet Spots" on an Advanced Lab are on the center of any side. Flares must be self-destructed to destroy lab with only one.

Grab a Sticky and shoot at unfriendlys hanging out near a guardpost. (They should know better.)

Use formations.
